About Us

The owner of Mustang Speakers, Ken Hutcherson, has been in the speaker business since 1989. He started out working for his father, Walter Hutcherson, at the Musical Exchange. Ken was the resident speaker man at the Musical Exchange for many years. He worked at Musical Exchange until he started his own speaker business, Mustang Speakers, on October 1st, 2007.

Ken and Angie met while Ken was working for his dad at the Musical Exchange. Angie’s mom, Carol, moved her music store, Play It Again Music Center, into the Musical Exchange building. Ken and Angie got married on Labor Day weekend 2004.

Their son Johnny was born in October 2007 (shortly after Mustang Speakers was founded). Johnny has loved music right from the start. He enjoys helping his dad as much as possible. He enjoys going to Musical Exchange and Play It Again to see his Poppa Walter and Grandma Carol and helping them too.

Ken also has an older son named Kenny. Kenny is all grown up now and has a daughter of his own, Danica. She and her uncle Johnny are right around the same age and will enjoy growing up together.

Johnny loves music!Text Box: Ken’s son, Johnny, at 2 years old with his guitar, amp, and microphone. We’re pretty sure he’ll be a musician one day.
